control freak

Seems the issue has been coming up a lot lately ... friend wrote a paper on it, girl at work talked about being one in her relationship, and I'm certainly well up on the list of control freaks myself. The paper my friend wrote concluded that the only things in our lives we have complete control over are our responses. Hmm. Hit home, felt true, and raised a small wave of defensiveness.

Had more thoughts, but they disappeared before I could get them down. so be it.
